Live music, every night.

An icon of the Triangle’s live music scene since 1975, Irregardless’ stage features over 200 of the finest local musicians and touring ensembles. The ‘small-club’ atmosphere and comfortable ambiance is intimate – the audience can literally reach out and touch the performers.

The stage hosts an eclectic mix of Jazz – Latin, New Orleans, Swing, Cuban – Traditional & Bluegrass offerings, as well as R&B, Fusion, Soul and World Music.

Week nights, musical ensembles perform from 6:30 – 9:30 or 10 pm. Saturday evening features a dinner ensemble from 6 – 8:30 pm followed by a featured Jazz Show from 9 – 11 pm – showcasing inspiring Jazz musicians.

The full bar offers local beers, unique fine wines and rousing cocktails – classic mixed drinks, contemporary favorites and Irregardless originals. The Cafe’s award winning ‘Farm to Table’ menu is served until 9:30 pm week nights and on weekends until at least 10 pm.

Arthur Gordon, impresario owner/chef, has invested over a million dollars paying local musicians, since the Cafe’s humble beginnings in 1975. Early performers have included the great Pee Wee Moore, Oscar Lopez, The Nudes with Walter Parks and Stephanie Winters, Bluegrass international star Tony Williamson, Lucinda Williams and many more.
